My name is Holly Anne. I am 21 years old and from Long Island, NY. I'm a journalism student at Hofstra University. I have dedicated my focus in the field to feature and magazine writing, blogging, social media and, lately, design and aesthetics. I love to write, but I also have a creative eye for publications both in print and online.
On my 21st birthday, December 19th, 2011, I took home my baby hedgehog, Shadow. He's a snowflake-colored hedgehog, which is among rare colors. I'd describe his look in further detail but you'll see plenty of photos of my baby boy. He is a blessing and has a crazy personality all his own, and I love him for that. He was born on October 27th, 2011.

After I recieved Shadow I looked up hedgehog sites and blogs online. I found quite a few hedgehog sites but no blogs. So, I decided to create The Hedgehog Diaries, a blog with photos of my baby hoglet, along with other photos, videos, tips, articles, and all that great stuff!
